The deity is depicted with four arms, carrying a conch, a discus, a bow, and a garland. Positioned along the banks of the Karuvannur river, known locally as Theevra river, the temple holds significance amidst its serene surroundings.
In addition to the primary deity Rama, the temple complex encompasses shrines dedicated to various other Hindu gods and goddesses. These include Shiva as Dakshinamoorthy, Ganesha, Shastha, and Krishna. Worship is also offered to Hanuman and Chathan, enriching the spiritual atmosphere of the temple.
