Navaratri Festival
The Navaratri festival at Pazhur Sreemahavishnu Temple includes elaborate celebrations with Saraswathy Pooja and Vidyarambham, marking the worship of the Goddess of Learning and the initiation of young children into the world of letters. Devotees also offer Kadumpayasam as a special nercha (offering) to the goddess, seeking her blessings for knowledge and wisdom. Additionally, the festival features Ganapathi Homam and special poojas, enhancing the spiritual fervor and drawing numerous worshippers to the temple.
Ayilyam Pooja
Ayilyam Pooja is performed with great devotion to appease the serpent gods. This ritual involves offerings of milk, flowers, and lighted lamps, seeking protection and blessings for prosperity and relief from Sarpa Dosha.
