Thaipooyam Festival

This vibrant festival is famous for its colorful Kavadis, which are decorated structures carried by devotees as offerings to Lord Muruga. Accompanied by traditional temple music such as chenda melam and nadaswaram, the festival creates a lively and spiritual atmosphere. The celebrations culminate in a grand procession featuring various types of Kavadis and tableaux, attracting large crowds of devotees and spectators who come to witness and participate in the festivities.
Thrikarthika
At the Nambiarkunnu Sree Bala Subramanya Swamy Temple, Thrikarthika is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. The temple is adorned with lamps, and special poojas are performed to honor Lord Muruga, attracting many devotees who seek his blessings.
