Uzhamalackal Thiruvathira is one of the most significant and revered festivals celebrated at the Uzhamalackal Sree Lakshmimangalam Devi Temple in Nedumangad, Trivandrum.
Known for its spiritual vibrancy and cultural richness, this festival attracts devotees from across Kerala and beyond all seeking the blessings of the goddess who is revered as the giver of prosperity, success and well being.
The temple itself is considered a panmreligious pilgrimage center welcoming devotees of all faiths to participate in its sacred ceremonies.
The festival spans several days during which a series of traditional rituals and poojas are conducted meticulously according to Vedic customs.
Devotees engage in early morning prayers, special Thiruvathira poojas, and offerings that include flowers, fruits, and other sacred items.
