തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ വാമനപുരത്തുള്ള ധർമ്മശാസ്താ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ 8 ദിവസത്തെ കുറ്റൂർ പൂരം, പരമ്പരാഗത ആചാരങ്ങൾ, മഹത്തായ ഘോഷയാത്രകൾ, സാംസ്കാരിക പ്രകടനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന മീനത്തിൽ (മാർച്ച്-ഏപ്രിൽ) നടക്കുന്ന വാർഷിക ഉത്സവമാണ്.

This temple is one of the famous Sastha temples in Trivandrum district. This temple is located on the banks of Vamanapuram river. The divine concept associated with this temple is related to children,
in other words Kuttikalde Sasthavu.

The annual festival falls in the Malayalam month meenam
(March/April). It is an 8 days long spectacular event. There is a
flag hoisting ceremony marking the beginning of the festival. The
shrine is traditionally decorated with plantain, coconut leaves,
flowers, leaves, traditional lamps and lights. Traditional performing
arts and music and dance are staged during the festival period.
Also theyyam and padayani, a unique temple ritual is also held
during the festival days which attract many. Exhibition of
agricultural products and its trade take place. A lot of business
activities also take place with many street vendors and mobile
carts around the temple premise. Numerous cultural programs and
temple arts are performed on all days of the festival. Caparisoned
elephants, melam, and sheevali are part of the festival. The
famous kuttoor pooram takes place on the 7th day of the festival,
procession starts from temple premises accompanied by hundreds
of floats, elephants, percussion music and many other art forms.
On the final day Arattu(holy bath) takes place, the utsava murti of
the deity is taken out of the shrine for ritual bathing.
