The Sree Durga Parameshwari Temple in Trivandrum is set to host the 19th Pratishta Varshikavum and Makara Rohini Mahotsavam 2026, a grand spiritual celebration that draws devotees from across Kerala and beyond. The Mahotsavam is observed over three days, combining devotion, spirituality and cultural heritage. The festival features a series of elaborate poojas, homams and abhishekams conducted by the temple Tantri and senior priests ensuring that each ritual adheres to traditional Vedic customs. Early morning rituals such as Palliyunarthal, Panchamrutha Abhishekam and Kalashapoojas provide devotees with a deeply immersive spiritual experience. Special homams like Ganapathi Homam, Tanjoyahomam, Mahamrityunjaya Homam and Sudarshana Havanam are performed to invoke divine blessings for prosperity, health and protection from negative energies.
