2026-ലെ കുംഭ ഭരണി മഹോത്സവം തിരുവനന്തപുരം പാച്ചല്ലൂർ ശ്രീ ഭദ്രകാളി ദേവീ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ഫെബ്രുവരി 16 മുതൽ 26 വരെ കൊടിയേറും, ഭക്തിപൂരണമായ ഘോഷയാത്രകളും പൂജകളും സംസ്കാരിക ആഘോഷങ്ങളും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.

The Kumbha Bharani Mahotsavam 2026 at Pachalloor Sree Bhadrakali Devi Devaswom in Trivandrum is one of the most revered and vibrant temple festivals in Kerala, celebrated with great devotion, grandeur and traditional fervor.The festival is dedicated to Sree Bhadrakali Devi, the divine mother who represents strength, prosperity and protection.
The festival begins with Kodiyettam signaling the start of a series of sacred rituals, elaborate poojas and spiritual ceremonies. The days that follow are filled with devotional programs such as Ganapathi Homam, Pushpabhishekam, Usha Pooja and Chathusuddhi rituals which are believed to bring divine blessings and fulfillment of devotees’ wishes. One of the most anticipated events is Kuthiyottam, a traditional ritual involving young boys which is accompanied by colorful processions and traditional music. Other highlights include the Pongala offering, special Aarattu and vibrant cultural processions featuring lamp-lit streets, music and folk performances.
Throughout the festival, the temple premises are beautifully decorated, and devotees actively participate in the rituals, offerings and community feasts known as Samoohasadya. The festival not only emphasizes devotion and spirituality but also promotes the rich heritage, temple arts and cultural traditions of Kerala. With each passing year, the Kumbha Bharani Mahotsavam continues to inspire faith, unity and reverence among devotees, making it a spiritually uplifting and culturally significant celebration in Trivandrum.
