Kudamattam & Pooram at Neyyattinkara Sree Krishna Swami Temple is one of the most vibrant and culturally significant temple festivals in Kerala. The festival is marked by the Kudamattam, a spectacular display of colorful decorated umbrellas that are exchanged rhythmically atop caparisoned elephants. This visual spectacle accompanied by the rhythmic beats of traditional Panchari Melam creates an atmosphere of divine celebration and excitement. The majestic procession of elephants, adorned with golden ornaments and vibrant decorations forms a central attraction and is considered a symbol of prosperity and spiritual blessing.
