Each day begins with early morning prayers and recitations of sacred texts including the Ayyappa Bhagavatam and Devi Mahatmyam creating a serene and devotional atmosphere that resonates throughout the temple premises.
A highlight of the festival is the Kalamezhuthu Pattu, an intricate floor art depicting the deity accompanied by traditional songs praising Lord Dharmashasta. This is followed by various cultural performances such as Kalaripayattu demonstrations, classical music concerts and dance programs performed by renowned local schools of performing arts.
