The festival begins with early morning rituals and devotional prayers creating a serene and spiritually charged atmosphere. Key highlights include the Pushpabhishekam where the deity is adorned with fragrant flowers and the Pratyaksha Ganapathi Pooja accompanied by an elephant procession which adds grandeur and cultural significance. Each day of the festival features a variety of classical and folk art forms including Thiruvathirakali, Koikkottikali, Bharatanatyam and other classical dance performances that showcase Kerala’s rich artistic heritage.
Evening programs often include Nupuradhvani, traditional music recitals and Panchari Melam, a spectacular percussion ensemble that resonates throughout the temple premises creating an immersive cultural experience.
