The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Vishnu in his Vamana avatar, also known as Vamanamoorthy. According to Hindu mythology, Vamana is the fifth avatar of Lord Vishnu, appearing as a dwarf Brahmin to restore cosmic balance and defeat the demon king Mahabali.

Daily rituals and poojas are conducted at the temple by the temple priests to invoke the blessings of Lord Vamanamoorthy. Devotees offer prayers, flowers, coconuts, and other offerings as a token of their devotion.
