Paranettu Mahotsavam
Paranettu Mahotsavam is a vibrant temple festival steeped in devotion and cultural splendor, featuring the dramatic Kaliyoottu ritual—a theatrical folk art dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, engaging both performers and worshippers in an immersive spiritual experience. This celebration also includes Pongala, where women cook sacred offerings in open hearths, and culminates with the Arattu ritual a ceremonial procession to bathe the deity's idol—bringing the community together in a shared display of faith and festivity.
Prathishta Dīnam
The Prathishta Dīnam (installation anniversary) is observed during the Mithunam month (June-July) according to the Malayalam calendar, commemorating the day the main deity's idol was ceremoniously consecrated. On this auspicious occasion, the temple hosts Ganapathy Homam, deepāradhana, special pūjās, cultural programmes, and anezhunnallathu procession to honor the deity and strengthen communal devotion.
