Thrikkarthika, also known as Karthigai Deepam or Kartika Deepam, is a significant festival celebrated primarily in the southern Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and parts of Karnataka. It falls on the full moon day (Purnima) in the Tamil month of Karthigai (Karthika in Malayalam), which usually corresponds to November or December.
