During the month of Karkkidakam, the Pirachal Devi Temple in Pravachambalam, Nemom, Thiruvananthapuram, conducts Ramayana Parayanam, the recitation of the epic Ramayana. This sacred practice is performed daily throughout the month, drawing devotees who seek spiritual enrichment and the blessings of Goddess Bhadrakali.
