Annual Festival

The Neyyattinkara Sree Krishna Swamy Temple's main festival is its Annual Festival, celebrated during the month of Meenam. The festivities begin with the sacred Kodiyett ceremony, where the main priest hoists a flag atop the temple's gopura, marking the start of the festival. Culminating with the Aaraatt on a Rohini star day in Meenam, the deity is ceremoniously taken out of the temple and immersed in the waters of the Neyyar river, symbolizing purification and renewal.

Navarathri

During Navarathri, the Neyyattinkara Sree Krishna Swamy Temple hosts three deities on their way to the Shri Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Trivandrum. These deities include Shri Kumaraswami from Kumarakoil temple, Shri Munnuutti Nanga, and Shri Saraswathi Devi. They rest overnight at the Krishna Temple, and elaborate arrangements are made for their welcome and stay, continuing their journey to Trivandrum the following morning.
