Ammankoda Maholsavam

Navaratri
During Navaratri, devotees observe various rituals and ceremonies to invoke the blessings of the divine mother. They perform elaborate poojas, including the Kalash Sthapana (installation of a sacred pot), chanting of mantras, offering of flowers, fruits, and prasad (sanctified food), and recitation of sacred texts such as the Durga Saptashati or Devi Mahatmyam.
