Thiruvathira Thirunal Maholsavam
Thiruvathira Thirunal Maholsavam at Muthana Sree Mahadeva Temple is celebrated in the Malayalam month of Dhanu, commencing with the Thrikkodiyettu Maholsavam to mark the beginning of the festival. The celebration features Pongala, a devotional offering made by women, along with special poojas, fervent prayers, and traditional rituals honoring Lord Shiva.
Mahashivaratri
Mahashivaratri is observed with deep devotion and elaborate rituals in honor of Lord Shiva. The celebrations include Ganapathi Homam to invoke auspiciousness, Mrityunjaya Homam for health and protection, Bhagavathy Seva to please the divine feminine energy, and Abhishekam accompanied by chanting and offerings throughout the night.
