Revathy Maholsavam
During the Revathy Maholsavam in March at Kulathinkara Bhagavathy Temple in Chempoor, Attingal, Trivandrum, devotees participate in various rituals and festivities. The celebrations include Thrikkodiyettu, a grand procession of the deity on a ceremonial chariot, followed by Urul Ghoshayatra, where the deity is taken out in a traditional boat procession. The festivities culminate with Deeparadhana, a collective lighting of lamps, and Samooha Pongala, where devotees offer cooked rice as a sacred offering to the goddess, fostering a sense of community and devotion among worshippers.
Vinayaka Chaturthi
