Prathishta Vaarshikam
Prathishta Vaarshikam at Kottayathu Kavu Sreedharma Sastha Temple is celebrated during the Malayalam month of Medam. The festival features a series of sacred rituals, including Kalasha Abhishekam, Kalabha Abhishekam, Pushpabhishekam and Pongala.
Makaravilakku Maholsavam
The Makaravilakku Maholsavam at Kottayathu Kavu Sreedharma Sastha Temple is a grand 41-day festival held during the Mandalakalam, the sacred 41-day austerity period leading up to Makaravilakku. This spiritually charged period features daily rituals, devotional singing, and special offerings culminating in the Makaravilakku observance, when devotees gather to witness and partake in the divine celebration.
