Kaliyoottu Maholsavam
Kaliyoottu Maholsavam at Kollode Sree Bhadrakali Temple is celebrated with great enthusiasm during the Malayalam month of Kumbham, invoking divine energy and devotion among devotees. The festival features the traditional Kodiyettu, Kalam Kaaval, and Pongala, where women offer a sweet rice pudding in reverence to the goddess.
Navaratri Maholsavam
Navaratri Maholsavam at Kollode Sree Bhadrakali Temple is a vibrant nine-day festival held annually in honor of the goddess. Each day features structured services, including Pooja Veyppu (placement of sacred offerings), Special Poojas, and the ritual Kumkumabhishekam (anointing the deity with kumkum). The celebration culminates with Vidyarambham, the sacred initiation of learning, blessing students and young children as they begin their educational journey.
