Kumbha Bharani Maholsavam
Kumbha Bharani Maholsavam at Edakkulam Sree Bhagavathy Temple unfolds with deep devotion and vibrant revelry. It begins with the ceremonial flag-raising (Thrikkodiyettu) and a grand procession (Ezhunnallath) through the neighborhood, following which women devotees offer pongala (sweet rice) and priests perform Pushpabhishekam—adorning the goddess with flowers. Navaratri Maholsavam
Navaratri Maholsavam here is observed with great devotion, beginning with Pooja Veyppu, where sacred items and books are ceremoniously arranged for worship. Vahana Pooja is conducted to invoke blessings on vehicles and temple chariots. On Vijayadashami, Vidyarambham marks the auspicious initiation of children into learning under the divine grace of the Goddess.
