The presiding deity is Lord Govinda, a form of Lord Mahavishnu. The temple, constructed nearly 1000 years ago by Koopakkaramadom Namboothiri, also houses sub-deities such as Ganapathy, Shiva, Ayyappa, and Nagaraja.
