The celebrations are marked by elaborate rituals performed with strict adherence to temple customs. The festival begins with Kodiyettu, the ceremonial flag hoisting, which signifies the commencement of the divine festivities. Each day of Brahmotsavam is filled with special poojas, processions and offerings that create a spiritually uplifting atmosphere within the temple premises.
One of the key highlights of the festival is Sarappabali, a ritual offering performed with devotion to seek divine blessings and protection. The grandeur continues with Utsavabali, where offerings are made to the deity accompanied by traditional chants and rituals.
