It is one of the rare temples in the world where the Trimurti Brahma, Shiva, and Vishnu are enshrined together in a single sanctum sanctorum.
Brahma is positioned on the left, Shiva in the center, and Vishnu on the right, symbolizing the three primal aspects of Parabrahma Creation, Destruction, and Preservation.
Festivals
The Temple has a number of festivals. The important ones are :
Thiru Ulsavam
The Thiru Ulsavam at Thripaya Trimurti Temple in the Medam month includes several significant rituals. The festival begins with Kalavara Nirakkal, followed by Deeparadhana and Vaastubali. The celebrations culminate with Deeparadhana and Annadanam, where devotees are offered a communal meal.
Sivaratri Maholsavam
The Sivaratri Maholsavam at Thripaya Trimurti Temple features a series of sacred rituals. The celebrations include Abhishekam Dhaara, Ezhunnallath, Deeparadhana, and Chuttuvilakku, where the temple and its surroundings are illuminated with lamps. The festival also includes the Koovalappara Samarppanam, a unique offering made by devotees.
