Pathamudayam

Pathamudayam, celebrated in the month of Medam (April-May), includes the traditional ritual of Kalamezhuthum Pattum dedicated to the goddess. During this ceremony, intricate and colorful designs known as Kalam are drawn on the floor using natural powders. These designs depict various forms of the goddess and are created with great devotion and artistry. Following the creation of the Kalam, Pattu are sung in praise of the deity, accompanied by traditional musical instruments. Devotees believe that these rituals invoke the goddess's blessings for prosperity, protection, and overall well-being.

Ayilya Pooja

Ayilya Pooja, dedicated to serpent gods, is a revered ritual where devotees seek blessings for resolving financial problems and attaining wealth. This pooja is typically performed on the Ayilyam star day in the Malayalam calendar and involves offerings such as milk, turmeric, flowers, and special food items to the serpent gods. Devotees believe that worshipping the serpent deities during Ayilya Pooja can bring prosperity, remove financial obstacles, and ensure overall well-being and success in life.
