The temple complex also houses sanctums for several sub-deities, including Lord Mahaganapathy, Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvathy,Lord Dharmasastha and Yogeeshwara.
The temple is open from 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the morning, and again from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the evening, concluding with the sacred Athazha Pooja.
Festivals
The Temple has a number of festivals. The important ones are :
Thiru Ulsavam
Thiru Ulsavam held in the month of Makaram begins with the ceremonial Kodiyettu and includes Ulsava Bali and the grand Arattu (holy bath). As part of the celebrations, special poojas are performed and prasadam is distributed to devotees.
Ramyana Maasa Achranam
During the sacred Ramayana Masam, the temple observes special rituals including daily Ramayana Parayanam (recitation of the Ramayana). Devotees also participate in various poojas and offerings to seek blessings for peace and prosperity.
