The Temple has a number of festivals. The important ones are :
Illam Nira
Illam Nira is an auspicious ceremony observed during the Malayalam month of Chingam (usually August–September). It involves special poojas and offerings meant to invoke prosperity and well being for devotees and the community.
Visheshal Ayilyam Pooja
On Ayilyam star days in the Malayalam month of Kanni (around September–October), the temple observes Visheshal Ayilyam Pooja a special worship dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Vavu Bali and Thilahomam
During the month of Thulam , the temple conducts Vavu Bali and Thilahomam, ceremonies performed to honor and offer peace to one’s ancestors.
Mandala Masacharanam
Mandala Masacharanam falls in Vrishchikam (around November–December). This period is traditionally considered highly auspicious for spiritual discipline and long‑term devotional observances.
