Ramayana Maasa Acharanam
Ramayana Maasa Acharanam in the month of Karkkidakam at Mattapilly Sree Bhadrakali Temple in Kadukutty, Thrissur, special rituals and religious observances are conducted daily. Devotees participate in the Ganapathi Homam every morning to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha for the removal of obstacles and the success of their endeavors. Additionally, the Bhagavathi Seva, a special pooja dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, is performed daily to seek her protection and blessings.
Thiru Ulsavam
Thiru Ulsavam at Mattapilly Sree Bhadrakali Temple in Kadukutty, Thrissur, during Makaram on the Makam star includes the Ayilyam Pooja dedicated to serpent deities. This ritual is performed to invoke blessings and protection from these divine beings, believed to bring prosperity and ward off malevolent forces. Devotees gather in large numbers to participate in these sacred observances, fostering a strong sense of cultural and spiritual connection within the community.
