Ulsavam

During the Ulsavam in the month of Kumbham at Kuruppath Bhagavathi Temple, the festivities begin with the Ganapathi Homam and Navakam, followed by Sheeveli, a ceremonial procession of the deity. Special poojas are conducted throughout the festival, and the temple is illuminated with Chuttuvilakk. The celebrations include the grand Ezhunnallath procession and conclude with the Guruthi ritual, symbolizing the goddess's protection and blessing.

Nagakalam

Nagakalam is a unique form of mystical ritual generally associated with ancestral temples dedicated to serpent gods. This intricate ceremony involves creating elaborate patterns and designs on the ground using natural powders, representing the serpent deities. The ritual is believed to invoke the serpent gods' blessings and protection, emphasizing the deep-rooted cultural and spiritual significance of these deities in ancestral worship.
