Pooram Ulsavam
Pooram Ulsavam in Kappiyur Chirakkal Bhagavathi Temple, celebrated during the Malayalam month of Kumbham, is a spectacular event featuring a majestic ezhunnallathu. The festival is accompanied by vibrant chendamelam, panchavadyam, and beautifully adorned elephants, drawing devotees and visitors alike to experience its cultural grandeur.
Navaratri
Navaratri, the temple comes alive with devotion and celebration, featuring Saraswathy Pooja to invoke knowledge and learning, followed by beautifully arranged Pushpanjali in praise of the Goddess. The ritual Pooja Veyppu, where the sanctum is beautifully decorated and the deity is adorned with special garments and ornaments, adds to the spiritual fervor of the nine-night festival.
