Mahalakshmi Temple Chevoor Thrissur

Sree Mahalakshmi Temple in Chevoor, Thrissur, Kerala, is a rare and sacred temple dedicated exclusively to Goddess Mahalakshmi, the embodiment of wealth, prosperity, and auspiciousness.

Temples devoted solely to Mahalakshmi are uncommon, as tradition holds that the Goddess does not remain in one place for long. However, this temple stands as a powerful exception, revered for its unique origin and spiritual significance. The deity here is believed to be a self-originated effulgence that manifested at Karipperi Mana in Pulanikkaatu, making the site especially divine.
