Thiruvutsavam 2026 at Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple, Pathanamthitta is one of the most celebrated annual festivals in Kerala attracting devotees and tourists alike. The Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple, also known as Thiruvaaranmula Parthasarathy Mahakshetram, is dedicated to Lord Krishna in his Parthasarathy form and holds immense religious and cultural significance in the region. The festival is marked by a series of elaborate rituals, cultural programs, and devotional ceremonies that span several days. The celebrations begin with Kodiyettam, the ceremonial flag hoisting which signifies the official start of the festival. This is followed by daily poojas, special homams and offerings to the deity where devotees participate actively to seek blessings for prosperity, health, and spiritual growth. Traditional art forms such as Kathakali, Ottamthullal and classical music performances are showcased during the evenings making the festival not only a religious event but also a cultural extravaganza.
