The 22nd Atha Mahotsavam and Punah Prathishta Varshikam along with the 21st Srimad Bhagavata Sapthaham Jnana Yajnam is a grand and spiritually enriching festival celebrated at the Sri Bhuvaneswara Temple, Pathanamthitta. This festival marks an important milestone in the temple’s history commemorating the annual Atha Mahotsavam as well as the re-consecration anniversary of the sanctum sanctorum.
Devotees from across Kerala and beyond gather here to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva and other deities participating in a series of sacred rituals, devotional ceremonies and cultural programs that showcase the temple’s rich spiritual heritage.
The Atha Mahotsavam is celebrated with great devotion and grandeur featuring traditional temple rituals such as Usha Pooja, Deeparadhana and Abhishekam.
