കേരളത്തിലെ ആറന്മുള പാർത്ഥസാരഥി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ജനുവരി മുതൽ ഫെബ്രുവരി വരെ നടക്കുന്ന 10 ദിവസത്തെ മഹത്തായ വാർഷിക സദ്യയാണ് ആറന്മുള വള്ള സദ്യ. ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനോടുള്ള ഭക്തിയുടെ പ്രതീകമായി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ സർപ്പവഞ്ചികളിലെ തുഴക്കാർ (പള്ളിയോടത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നവർ) വിഭവസമൃദ്ധമായ ഭക്ഷണം നൽകുന്നതാണ് ഈ സവിശേഷമായ ആചാരം.

On the day of Krishna's Birthday - Ashtami Rohini day, the
Valla sadya is conducted for all the devotees of Lord
Parthasarathy.
The Valla sadya is a unique mass feast with
strong devotional moorings, given to the crew of Palliyodams (snake boats) which the devotees consider a divine vessel of Lord Krishna, the presiding deity of Aranmula Sree Parthasarathy Temple. People from different Palliodams reach the temple in their respective boats to take part in the valla
sadya. Valla sadya is conducted by the devotees as a Vazhipadu or offering to Lord Parthasarathy.

On the valla sadya day, the oarsmen come to the Temple in the boat through the river. The oarsmen offer Nirapara to the presiding deity at the Nadappanthal in front of the golden temple mast and go round the temple chanting Krishna Bhajans (Vanchi Pattu). The entire atmosphere charges with the rhythmic Vanchipattu, songs in praise of Lord Parthasarathy. The valla sadya begins immediately
after the ucha pooja at the temple.
