Parumala Valiya Panayannarkavu Devi Temple is a sacred shrine where the Saptha Matha (Seven Goddesses) are worshipped as the presiding deities.

The temple complex also houses a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located about 3 km from Mannar—a village renowned for its traditional bell-metal lamps and vessels—the temple was historically known for its esoteric tantric rituals, reflecting its strong Shaktheya traditions.

Navaratri is celebrated with devotion at the Panayannarkavu Devi Temple, honoring the Saptha Matha (Seven Mother Goddesses) who are the presiding deities. Each day of the festival includes special poojas, cultural performances, and traditional rituals. The temple premises come alive with vibrant decorations and devotional activities throughout the nine days.
