Vinayaka Chaturthi
Vinayaka Chaturthi, also known as Ganesh Chaturthi, is a Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom and prosperity. Maha Ganapathi Homam is a special fire ritual performed on this auspicious day to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha. During the homam, Vedic chants and mantras are recited, and offerings such as ghee, rice, and various herbs are made into the sacred fire.
Bhagavatha Sapthaha Yajnam
Bhagavatha Sapthaha Yajnam is a traditional Hindu ritual involving the recitation of the Bhagavata Purana, a sacred text that narrates the stories of Lord Krishna and his divine pastimes. During this week-long yajna (ritual), learned priests and scholars chant the verses of the Bhagavata Purana, expounding its teachings and interpretations to the gathered devotees.
