The Panayannarkavu Devi Temple, situated on the banks of the Pampa river at Parumala in Pathanamthitta District, Kerala, is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Sri Badrakali and Lord Shiva.

While Lord Shiva is the main deity, the temple also reveres the Saptha matha (Seven Goddesses) as the presiding power, making it unique in Kerala. Among the seven deities, Chamundi holds a prominent position, symbolizing ferocious aggressiveness akin to Kali. Legend has it that Chamundi vanquished the demon Raktabija, whose blood had the power to spawn more demons upon contact with the ground.
