Pongala is a revered tradition where devotees, predominantly women, gather to prepare a sweet offering known as Pongala in earthen pots. This ritual, performed with devotion and faith, involves cooking rice, jaggery, coconut, and other ingredients as an offering to the presiding deity, usually Goddess Bhagavathi.
