Ayilyam Pooja
At this temple, the Ayilyam Pooja is conducted annually during the Malayalam month of Thulam on the Ayilyam nakshatra (moon-star), a day sacred to serpent deities. Devotees gather to perform rituals like **Sarpa Bali** and **Naga Puja**, seeking divine protection, prosperity, and relief from family ailments.
Mahashivratri
Mahashivratri, observed in the Malayalam month of Kumbham (February-March), is one of the most important festivals dedicated to Lord Shiva. It marks the divine night of Shiva's cosmic dance (Tandava) and his celestial marriage to Goddess Parvati. Devotees observe fasting, night-long vigil (jaagaran), Rudra abhishekam, special poojas, and chanting of 'Om Namah Shivaya', seeking blessings for inner peace, strength, and spiritual upliftment.
