During the Thiru Ulsavam celebrated in the month of Kumbham at Kakkarakudi Sree Mahadevar Temple in Avolikuzhy, Athumpumkulam, Konni, Pathanamthitta, special rituals like Maha Mrityunjaya Homam and Maha Ganapathi Homam are performed with devout fervor. These rituals, along with elaborate abhishekams conducted on the presiding deity Lord Shiva, aim to invoke divine blessings for the welfare and prosperity of devotees.
