The main deity of the temple is Chaturbahu Mahavishnu, depicted with four arms holding Sankhu, Chakra, Gada, and Padma. He is shown seated on the coils of Ananta in a Chakravarthy posture, accompanied by Bhoomidevi and Lakshmidevi.

In addition to the central deity, the temple houses sub-deities including Lord Ganapathy, Sastha, Shiva, and Naga.

Arattu Maholsavam
During the Arattu Maholsavam at Thiru Kachamkurissi Maha Vishnu Temple is held in the Edavam month, the temple observes a series of vibrant and sacred events. The festival includes the grand Ezhunnallath where the deity is carried in a ceremonial procession with elaborate decorations and accompanied by traditional music and dance. The celebrations culminate with the Arattu where the deity is bathed in a sacred water ritual, symbolizing purification and renewal.
Vishu
During Vishu at Thiru Kachamkurissi Maha Vishnu Temple in Payyallur, Kollengode South, Palakkad, the temple is adorned with festive decorations and vibrant floral arrangements. The celebrations feature the traditional Vishu Kani, where devotees view the auspicious sight of new year's offerings, including rice, vegetables, and coins, arranged in a ritualistic display. Special poojas are conducted to honor Lord Vishnu, and devotees gather to receive blessings and seek prosperity for the coming year.
