Sarpabali is a ritual performed at Sree Pookkottukalikavu Bhagavathi Temple to appease the Ashta Nagas and to mitigate the negative effects of Sarpa dosha, which are believed to arise from the curses of serpents. The ritual involves elaborate offerings and prayers to seek the blessings of the serpent deities, ensuring protection and prosperity for the devotees.
