Sree Vishnumaya Temple Palakkad

The Sree Vishnumaya Temple is located in Pullapatta, a village in Ottappalam, within the Palakkad district of Kerala.

Vishnumaya is believed to be the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati, born out of divine intervention to vanquish demons and protect devotees. He is often depicted riding a buffalo and wielding a magical staff, symbolizing his power to combat evil forces.

Sree Krishna Jayanthi

Sree Krishna Jayanthi at Sree Vishnumaya Temple in Pullapatta, Ottappalam, is celebrated with great devotion, featuring the recitation of Narayaneeya Parayanam to honor Lord Krishna's birth. The festivities include a vibrant Ghoshayatra with devotees singing bhajans and dancing in joy. The temple is decorated and illuminated by Chuttuvilakku , creating a divine and festive atmosphere.
