The temple offers a serene and vibrant space for daily worship, Vedic rituals, and spiritual gatherings. Maha Ganapathi Temple in Koppam, Palakkad reflects the traditional Kerala-style temple architecture, characterized by its simple yet spiritually resonant design. The temple is built with sloping tiled roofs, a hallmark of Kerala architecture that helps protect the sanctum from heavy monsoon rains. The sreekovil houses the idol of Lord Ganapathi and is typically square in shape, constructed with granite or laterite blocks and crowned with a copper or tiled roof. The namaskara mandapam, located in front of the sanctum, is used for devotees to offer prayers. The outer walls are adorned with simple yet auspicious motifs, and a deepasthambham stands tall in front of the shrine, lit during major rituals and festivals. The temple premises include a chuttambalam for pradakshina, which adds to the spiritual ambience.
