Thiruvathira Vilakku Maholsavam at Kizhakkethara Bhagavathy Temple, held in the Malayalam month of Dhanu, is a beautifully lit festival celebrating Goddess Bhagavathy. The day begins with Trikala Pooja, followed by special poojas and extensive vilakku (lamp-lighting) ceremonies illuminating the temple grounds. Thrikkarthika at Kizhakkethara Bhagavathy Temple is celebrated with the lighting of countless oil lamps, creating a divine and serene ambiance. Devotees offer prayers, perform special poojas, and participate in rituals seeking the blessings of Goddess Bhagavathy for prosperity and protection.
