Karimpuzha Sree Ramaswamy Temple Palakkad

Karimpuzha Sree Ramaswamy Temple, also revered as Dakshina Ayodhya, is a significant temple located in the Palakkad district of Kerala, India. Situated on the serene banks of the Karimpuzha River a major tributary of the Bharathapuzha River the temple holds deep mythological connections to the Indian epic, Ramayana.

Historically, the temple was owned by Kozhikode Samoodhiripad - Eralpad, who had his "Kovilakam" in Karimpuzha. The temple is distinguished by its special offerings and pujas. Notably, it is said that Lord Hanuman accompanied Rama during his final moments, which led to the placement of Hanuman's deity within the temple premises.
