The celebration at Thirunavaya Sree Navamukunda Temple begins with the Sheeveli, a ceremonial procession of the deity around the temple premises, accompanied by traditional percussion instruments and chants. This is followed by Ottanthullal performances which are classical Kerala art forms combining storytelling, music and dance.
