Thrikkarthika Pongala
Thrikkarthika at Sri Thirumala Durga Devi Temple in Pulikkal, Periyambalam, Malappuram, is celebrated with the traditional Pongala ceremony during the month of Vrischikam. Devotees gather to perform the sacred ritual of Pongala, where they prepare a special offering of rice, jaggery, coconut, and ghee, cooked together in earthen pots as an offering to Goddess Durga.
