Special highlights of the celebration include the Gaja Pooja (worship of elephants) and Anayoottu (ritual feeding of elephants), reflecting the temple's traditional reverence for the divine in all forms.
Sivaratri Maholsavam
Sivaratri Maholsavam at Poovathikkadav Mahadeva Temple is observed with deep devotion and traditional rituals. The celebrations include Ganapathy Homam, special poojas, Dhaara and Deeparadhana.
