Sarppabali

Sarppabali, performed during the Thulam month (October-November) on the Ayilyam star day, is a significant ritual in Hindu temples dedicated to ancestral spirits and serpent deities. This ceremony is conducted to appease and honor Nagas and to seek protection from their malefic influences. Devotees offer various offerings, including cooked rice mixed with coconut, and perform special prayers and rituals to ensure peace and prosperity for their families.

Thrikkarthika

During Thrikkarthika at the temple, the Thrikala Pooja is observed, which involves performing three separate pujas on morning, afternoon, and night to honor the deity. Additionally, Sahasra Deepa Samarppanam, a special ritual where a thousand lamps are offered to the deity, takes place during the Vrischikam month on the Karthika star day, symbolizing light and divine blessings.
